The TempNet organization is a national group of progressive independent staffing firms committed to excellence in their industry. Independent staffing company owners come together to help one another leap beyond the reach of their competition, to develop specialty niche markets, to learn the secrets to increasing margins, and to more successfully compete in their markets. It all began in 1970, when members formed a national alliance of ongoing support at the CEO and Management level, in protected territories for independently owned staffing firms. Today, this staffing association is stronger than ever.
TempNet is constantly watching for professional, progressive, and strong independent staffing firms in markets not yet covered by current members. Our typical member is a strong, staffing business owner with 2-10 branch offices. We serve a wide variety of industries. Most of our members staff clerical and light industrial with many specializing in areas such as hospitality, medical, and accounting.
Association Membership Requirements:
• Must be in a non-competing market.
• Must have been in business a minimum of 2 years in the staffing business.
• Must have demonstrated leadership in community service and/or association volunteer work.
• Recommended minimum 3000 billable hours per week.
• Must be an active participant - attendance once a year at either of the 2 meetings AND owner attendance at Annual Meeting once every other year is the minimum participation requirement.

TempNet attracts eighty-five percent of the association’s owner/members to any given conference – the decision makers for their companies. Association Members are required to attend at least one yearly conference, so you are guaranteed to see every member within the year. Because of the unique non-competitive nature of the TempNet organization, many of the items purchased by one member are recommended to the full membership.
Our meetings offer ever-changing opportunities to connect with our staffing association members, in addition to speaking slots on the program, a trade show, and some legendary networking events.
