Adapting to the Shifting Staffing Landscape: A Model for Effective Sales Strategies in Changing Markets

Scott Love returns to TempNet!
In this exciting and fast-moving keynote presentation, industry expert Scott Love will show you how to develop significant relationships with key economic buyers of your services. Based on his own experience as a leading practitioner of recruiting in a hyper-competitive industry, Scott will show how you can earn the trust of sophisticated executives in a crowded market.

Through this session, attendees will learn:

  • How to establish first contact with prospective clients.
  • How to probe for potential needs and move to a successful close.
  • How to set expectations with clients so they don’t ghost you.
  • How to overcome sales objections in a very professional and authentic way.
  • How to sell at margins higher than your competitors.

Mark's session will focus on the fact that the field of play is rapidly changing for staffing. Buying behavior has changed and we must adapt our sales process to suit. The problem is that our actions reflect what feels right based on past experience, not a product of aligning behavior to current market conditions. Mark will introduce you to a model that shows four market phases, the strategies that work best in each, and how to assess your company’s position and strategy to get the best results.
The session will be broken out into two segments the first being a keynote style session that will cover the four-block concept in detail and the second will be a panel discussion with four staffing TempNet partners where they will share real-world experiences being in one of the four market phases.

You will come away with practical action items you can to implement make an impact immediately as well as a being able to determine if you have the right sales team in place and how to get them ready to tackle what’s next.

Manager Net: Transforming Partnerships and Pioneering Client Strategies

The greatest liability in an owner’s succession planning journey is time. Without investing the time to create a succession plan for your business, the fruits of your labor can easily be lost. In this session, Jerry Grady, Partner & National Staffing Practice Leader, will discuss the various considerations for creating your exit plan. Just as your business is distinct, so must be your succession plan. Identifying the markers that set your transition up for success, this session will guide you through the four different options that are available when exiting your business:

  • Transfer to family – Family Estate/Succession
  • Transfer to management – MBO
  • Transfer to employee – ESOP
  • Sell Out Right – Third Party Sale

This session will cover the challenges we are facing today, which is the lack of client reliance on staffing companies. This is being revealed by lack of usage, lack of responsiveness and lack of loyalty. Our mission in today’s market is to understand our strengths and value to deepen our level of client relationships. We will explore these topics in an interactive, hands-on session. You will leave understanding your company’s strengths, how to articulate the value you provide, and gain access to your clients again.

We'll work through three sections in this session:

  • It’s All About Focusing on the Customer!
  • Client Partnership Ladder
  • Overcoming Common Hurdles in Today’s Market
